After you upload your FICA documents, they need to be reviewed and approved before certain features on CX Bets are fully available (for example, withdrawals or higher limits). This article explains typical timelines, what can cause delays, and what to do if your FICA is taking longer than expected.
1. Typical FICA Timeframes
Actual review times depend on your region, volume and internal processes, but as a general guideline:
- Automatic checks: A few minutes to an hour (where supported).
- Manual review: Within 1–3 business days after all documents are received.
Weekends, public holidays and very busy periods can extend these timeframes. If this is a demo or training environment, approvals may be faster or simulated.
2. FICA Status Stages
You may see your FICA status move through stages such as:
- Not started – No documents have been uploaded yet.
- Pending / In review – Documents have been received and are being checked.
- Approved / Verified – FICA checks have been completed successfully.
- Rejected / Action required – There was a problem with the documents and you need to fix something.
You can usually view your current status in your My Account or Verification / FICA section.
3. What Can Delay FICA Approval?
Common reasons for delays include:
- Unclear or low-quality images
Blurry photos, glare, shadows or cut-off edges can make documents unreadable. - Expired documents
An ID, licence or passport that has expired may not be accepted. - Details don’t match your account
Name, surname, date of birth or address on your documents must match your CX Bets profile. - Incorrect document type
For example, uploading a screenshot instead of a statement, or a very old proof of address when a recent one is required. - High review volumes
Peak times or special promotions can increase the number of submissions, slowing down manual reviews.
If your FICA stays in Pending for longer than the usual timeframe, it is often due to one of the issues above.
4. How to Check Your FICA Status
- Log in to your CX Bets account
Go to the official website or app and sign in. - Open the Verification / FICA section
Navigate to My Account, Profile or Verification / FICA. - View your current status
Look for a label such as Not started, Pending, Approved or Rejected, and read any notes or instructions provided.
If the status shows Rejected or Action required, there should be a reason or comment explaining what needs to be fixed.
5. If Your FICA Is Taking Longer Than Expected
If more than 3 business days have passed since you submitted clear, correct documents and your status is still pending:
- Confirm that all required documents were uploaded (ID and, if needed, proof of address).
- Check for any emails from CX Bets in your inbox or spam/junk folder.
- Review your documents to ensure they are readable and not expired.
If everything looks correct, please contact CX Bets Support and include:
- Your username or account number.
- The date and approximate time you submitted your documents.
- Which documents you uploaded (e.g. ID + bank statement).
- A screenshot of your current FICA status, if possible.
6. Why We Can’t Always Approve Immediately
FICA checks are legal requirements designed to protect both you and the platform. In some cases, we must:
- Verify that documents are authentic and not altered.
- Confirm that details match existing records.
- Perform additional checks based on risk or regulatory triggers.
Rushing this process or skipping steps could put your account and CX Bets at risk. Our aim is to approve valid documents as quickly as possible while still meeting our compliance obligations.
7. What Happens After FICA Is Approved?
Once your FICA status shows as Approved or Verified:
- Any FICA-related restrictions should start to lift (for example, withdrawal blocks).
- You may see higher deposit or withdrawal limits, depending on your profile.
- You should not need to re-submit documents unless details change or regulations require updates.
If you still experience restrictions after approval (for example, a withdrawal still blocked), contact Support with your username and details of the issue.
8. Demo vs. Live Environment
If you are using a demo or training environment, FICA timelines may be simulated and not reflect real-world processing times. In that case:
- Approvals might be completed manually by a trainer or admin.
- Some statuses may be updated for demonstration purposes only.
- No real regulatory reporting is performed in the demo environment.
For a live CX Bets deployment, your operations team can update this article with your official FICA timeframes and any region-specific requirements.
9. Need Help With FICA Timelines?
- Use the CX Bets Bot and select FICA & Verification.
- Search the Help Center for other FICA articles like “What Is FICA and Why Do We Need It?” and “How to Upload FICA Documents”.

Our team will review your case and let you know if any additional information or documents are required to complete your FICA approval.
